Cristal Patterson
It's my honor and pleasure to be a private instructor for nearly 20 years.  I studied music in college and have been playing for 37 years.  Some of my favorite composers are Chopin, Rachmaninov, and John Williams.  It's wonderful when everything clicks into place for a student; I teach to fall in love with the challenge of learning something new -- a skill that ripples into so many other areas.  I'm thrilled to offer classes to our community in a variety of disciplines. I'm a self taught drummer of 15 years with a weakness for funky bass lines.  Playing the drums is extremely therapeutic, freeing, and gratifying, and I strive to pass on that feeling to my students.  My inspirations include, but definitely are not limited to:  Carter Beauford, Larnell Lewis, Ramon Montagner, Dennis Chambers, Jojo Mayor, Robert "Sput" Searight, and Mark Guiliana.

Hi!  I am Ashley and I have been playing piano for over 20 years.  I studied music at SCU Chico receiving my B.A. in music as well as a Certificate in Keyboard Pedagogy in 2014.  I have been actively teaching students of carious ages and abilities for over 10 years and am passionate about spreading a love and appreciate for music.  In addition to teaching, I am very active in my church's music department playing piano for services weekly, as well as helping to develop new young musicians.  When I'm not teaching or playing I spend my time with my 3 children and husband, and I love to garden, read, and decorate our home.

Hello!  I'm Alyssa and I have enjoyed working with children for the last 10 years in a daycare setting, as well as nannnying and kids' church activities!  I've also been a personal cook for the last 8 years and have learned lots along the way which I can't wait to share with your little ones.  I studied American Sign Language in college and some of my hobbies include crocheting, reading, hiking, traveling, piano playing, and sing alongs in my car!  I can't wait to meet you!

When I'm not chasing my kiddos, my troop, or managing my small business, you'll usually find me with a good book, a warm blankie, and some cold caffeine – or simply relaxing and enjoying all that our beautiful community has to offer. Hi!  I am Phillip and I began playing guitar almost 20 years ago and am primarily a self-taught musician but have had some formal training under Charlie Robinson.  I am passionate about music and love to help develop other young musicians.  I currently serve as a band leader at my local church, helping to run and organize the music for weekly services.  When I am not creating music, I love spending time with my family and enjoy going fishing and biking.
